If your applicants have not secured an offer, Clearing gives them another opportunity to gain a place
Clearing is available to applicants who have completed an application but have not managed to secure a place for the current year. Courses that have vacancies will be listed in The Independent and on our website from the day that A level results are published. For 2008, A level results will be published on 14 August 2008. Scotland 's results will be published on 5 August 2008.
Applicants can view the vacancies and contact institutions direct to discuss their options and suitability for the course.
If they are flexible and have reasonable exam results, there is still a good chance they will find another course.
