Tenth Joint QCA/UCAS Survey into 14-19 Curriculum

All schools in England have now been sent the annual QCA UCAS survey on 14 - 19 changes. As this is a time of considerable development and reform in the 14-19 curriculum, this year's survey reflects this.

Its purpose is to:

  • seek comments from centres about their experience and thoughts on how the Reform Programme may affect them and their students
  • establish a 'baseline' for evaluating forthcoming and future developments
  • assess the level of collaborative provision in 14-19 education
  • gain feedback on the Diploma

Given the scale of the upcoming reforms it is more important than ever that we hear your views. The findings will be shared with other agencies including the DCSF, Ofsted and the Association of Colleges. Your comments will feed into forthcoming development work and assist Higher Education in formulating appropriate entry requirements.

The survey this year is asking the following centre types for their thoughts.

  • 14 - 16 schools
  • 14 - 19 schools
  • FE, Sixth Form Colleges and Centres
  • PRU and Secure Units
  • Special Schools and Colleges
