Welcome to the new UCAS website!
Welcome to the new UCAS website, which has been developed around the information needs of students on their journey to higher education, from researching options to completing an application.
We have built the new website to improve the support we offer to the different people that use UCAS. From research, we found that our old website was successful in supporting applications to higher education, but was not performing well as either a communications tool or an information resource.
As well as information for students, there are also sections supporting advisers (including those in schools and colleges), colleagues in higher education institutions, and, for the first time, a section devoted to addressing the information needs of parents.
For each audience there is a dedicated section through which we will publish news, information about events and reminders of key dates throughout the application cycle.
We have also taken the opportunity to write entirely new content, making sure the terms we use are clear and the tone is authoritative yet approachable. We have also made sure that the site is accessible to people with disabilities.
