What does the session cover?

If you've been helping students to apply to higher education for a number of years, you'll already have plenty of knowledge and experience of UCAS. So what can we teach you that you don't already know?

To make the most of your expertise we have introduced a Wise Adviser training session. Rather than focusing on the detailed processes, we'll discuss best practice methods and inform you of future changes to the sector and UCAS systems. We'll also show you how to make the most of UCAS data, so that you're prepared when you advise your next cohort of students on applying to higher education.

By attending our training session, you will:

discuss what's new for HE applications in 2011/12
refresh your understanding of UCAS procedures and services
explore best practice in reference writing
benefit from unrivalled access to UCAS data
exchange tips and expertise.

Who should attend?

These one-day events are exclusively for experienced school and college advisers and are held at UCAS, where you'll be able to talk to UCAS colleagues and can see for yourself how we operate with exclusive behind the scenes access.

Whatever the circumstances of your school or college, you will enhance your ability to manage and facilitate the entire process of your applicants' applications to higher education.
