SPA is the independent and objective voice on higher education (HE) admissions in the UK. The programme assists universities and colleges maintain and enhance excellence and professionalism in admissions, student recruitment and widening inclusion. The SPA team consists of six staff who have a combined 72 years experience within admissions, student recruitment and widening inclusion. Janet Graham, Director of SPA and formerly Head of Admissions Office at the University of Cambridge, is joined by three senior project officers. Annie Doyle previously Admissions Officer at the University of York, Leslie Currie who was Assistant Registrar at University of Bath, and Dan Shaffer who held the post of Assistant Registrar at Aston University. Ruth Burchell is the Project Officer and Sheila Ham is PA to the Director and provides administrative support.
