The Applicant Data Team & the UCAS Data for HESA Transaction (Also known as *J)

The Applicant Data Team at UCAS is a dedicated team of four, responsible for ensuring that the data collected for each applicant meets the needs of your institution and all our other stakeholders.

As well as establishing and maintaining adherence to Data Protection Laws and Government policies, the team carries out investigation into ways of refining the data to make certain we are delivering the best quality applicant information.

By working closely with HESA and technical staff in UCAS' Digital Services, we also take responsibility for the content and delivery of the UCAS Data for HESA transaction.

As part of the team's efforts to improve our services to you, we are proposing to invite your institution to a UCAS Data for HESA transaction workshop in October this year.

We have put together a questionnaire which will help us to help you with understanding UCAS Data for HESA transaction and highlight areas for improvement.

The questionnaire should take around 5 minutes to complete and responses will form the basis for discussion at the October workshop as well as driving our focuses for the coming year.

The questionnaire is aimed at all staff members who are involved with the UCAS Data for HESA transaction and making the HESA Student Record Return.

Whether or not you intend to attend the workshop, please click here to take the questionnaire.

Please remember your questionnaire must be submitted by Friday 12 September.

Your answers will be treated confidentially.
