web-link training

What does the session cover?

The workshop helps HE staff to gain a better understanding of the course and applicant areas of web-link. We'll explain how course and institution data is provided and subsequently used for publications and the UCAS website. We'll also take you through the key principles of applicant data, running reports, and the latest policies and procedures.

Training begins with an overview of both the course and applicant data sections of web-link. We will explain how and where data is used and how to navigate around the database.

You'll be able to ask questions and gain experience through exercises designed to maximise your understanding of course data.

The afternoon focuses on the practical aspects of decision processing including the opportunity to use our interactive applicant data system to make offers, get to know the database and ask any questions.

Who should attend?

The day is designed for staff working in admissions with responsibility for course data, processing decisions or updating institution data. Whether you are new to your job or would just benefit from a refresher, a web-link workshop will help.

The one-day workshop runs from 10:00 to 15:00 and includes lunch.
