The UCAS Professional Development Team offers a range of training, development and consultancy opportunities to colleagues and interested parties involved in HE, FE and progression to HE. It is a dedicated team of full-time experienced professionals based at UCAS and forms part of the Policy and Communications Department.
What services do we offer to whom?
The Professional Development Team is responsible for the delivery of the following services to external clients including staff in HE and FE institutions, schools and colleges, advisers on progression to HE and FE, Careers advisers, applicants and parents.
Higher and Further Education
We are responsible for the delivery of:

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme - a suite of professional development opportunities specifically designed for those supporting the recruitment and admission of applicants into both FE and HE programmes.

Managing the online application process - a range of training modules enabling participants to learn about the Apply process for UCAS, GTTR and CUKAS systems. (The link will take you to the Advisers section of this site)

Wider Picture programme - consultancy sessions focused at admissions and recruitment staff on a range of important topics relating to progression into HE.

Entry Profiles training - sessions hosted by UCAS to help member institutions understand, develop and enhance their Entry Profiles.

Who are we?
The team currently consists of a Professional Development Manager and seven full-time Professional Development Officers:
