What are the UCAS deadlines for applying?

Completed applications, including a reference, should be sent to UCAS by the following dates.

  • 15 October 2007 for dentistry, medicine, veterinary science and veterinary medicine. It is the same date for applications to Oxford University and the University of Cambridge.
  • 15 January 2008 for all other courses except Route B art and design courses.
  • 24 March 2008 for Route B art and design courses for round 1. We recommend that applications for these courses reach us by 7 March 2008.
  • 12 June 2008 - last date for receipt of Route B art and design applications. Any applications received after this date are held for Clearing.
  • 30 June 2008 - the final deadline. All applications that we receive by this date are processed and sent to the universities and colleges. Applications that we receive after 30 June will not be sent to the universities and colleges in the normal way. Instead, these applications will go directly into Clearing.
