Due to some technical difficulties experienced with UCAS Apply and the possible delays caused by postal strikes, the closing date for medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine/science, Oxford University and University of Cambridge has been extended to 16 October 2007.
Please note that the extended deadline applies only to the UCAS application and not to any other application materials requested by your chosen universities and colleges.
This is the deadline for us to receive the application. If your school, college or centre will be providing your reference online, please allow enough time for your referee to check your application and attach your reference before they send it to us.
If you are applying as an individual, please allow enough time to check your application and attach your reference before sending it to us.
An application for any of the above courses/institutions received after this date (but by 30 June 2008) will still be sent to the chosen universities and colleges, but the institutions are not obliged to consider it.
Please check your application thoroughly before sending it to your referee or to UCAS.
If you apply to Oxford University or University of Cambridge you must fill in a separate paper application form from that university as well as the UCAS application. You can get this from your school or college or from the relevant university.
If applying for either Oxford or Cambridge, we advise that you check the relevant university's website to find out how the postal strike affects receipt of their separate paper application form.
