Our Agent Portal Guide to Getting Started (1.75 MB) is a detailed step-by-step reference guide to help you start using the agent portal.

Before you can start sending applications, you need to:

  • register other users at your agency, and set their permissions
  • set your agency code word

Remember to share the code word with students who you want to link to your agency. They will need to enter this to give consent for you to manage their applications.


Online training: ‘How to use the agent portal’

We have developed an online training module on how to use the agent portal. This module is hosted on our Professional Development Platform, and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

To access UCAS’ Professional Development Platform you will be asked to sign in. If you have already registered for UCAS’ new agent or adviser portals, please use these details. If you have not yet registered, you can register here.
