This webinar will explore how music censorship in Britain has become an oppressive regime that creates a catch-22 by preventing artists (in particular drill rappers) from legally breaking out of the poverty cycle.
We will be exploring the controversial culture surrounding drill as well as the met commissioners’ plan to ban drill music in the UK in 2019 as she believed the genre incites violence.
