Goldsmiths’ Law academics will be reflecting on current challenges within their areas of expertise - environmental law and climate justice, immigration law, criminal law and human rights, Brexit - and suggesting constructive solutions in search of future directions. Students will get a flavour of the fascinating range of socio-legal and socio-political issues covered by the innovative LLB Law and LLB Law with Criminal Justice & Human Rights programmes at Goldsmiths.
In addition to attending three 30 minute lectures covering the above themes, students will also have the opportunity to take part in a highly interactive exercise, drawing on the challenging themes they have explored throughout the afternoon and bringing them to life through lively debate.
The programme will come to a close with a presentation from the Head of the Law Department, Prof Dimitrios Giannoulopoulos, on the cutting edge LLB Law and LLB Law with Criminal Justice & Human Rights programmes offered at Goldsmiths, as well as some valuable advice on writing a successful personal statement and UCAS application when applying to study Law.
