How to access the live event
-
How do I attend?
The conference is completely online, so it is accessible from anywhere with internet access (although Chrome is advised as is using a laptop rather than a mobile device). You need to register via the link on this website, and then we will send you more information about how to join the conference platform nearer the time.
-
How long is the conference?
The conference is for two days on Wednesday 29 – Thursday 30 June. The platform will be available for you to access a week prior to the conference days, for you to set up your profile, book online speed networking meetings with exhibitors for the days of the conference and browse content. You will be able to access live sessions on the 29 June and also view the session recordings and download any supplementary materials (presentations and handouts) until 19 September.
-
Is the conference live and will I be able to interact with speakers?
Plenary sessions on 29 June will be completely live and you will be able to interact with the speakers. Breakout sessions on 29 June will also be live, although some may include pre-recorded presentations. All breakout sessions will include live Q&A. As for a physical conference, you can choose which sessions you want to attend live, however (unlike a physical conference) you can also view the sessions you didn’t get to attend live, at your leisure after the event.
-
Will I be able to interact with other delegates?
Yes. You will be able to see who else is in attendance, and post messages. Being part of the live Q&A during sessions also means that you are constantly interacting with other delegates and benefitting from their experience and perspectives.
-
What does the speed networking involve?
There will be two one-hour slots for speed networking on each day of the conference. You will be able to set up and accept invitations to 20-minute meetings which will enable you to interact on a one-to-one basis with speed networking UK higher education providers.
