The Scottish Association of Marine Science, a partner of UHI, based in Oban, has launched a new masters programme in Algal Biotechnology and Bioeconomy, the first of its kind in the UK, in a bid to plug a skills gap in this rapidly growing industry.

In this online session, Senior Lecturer in Algal Biotechnology and course leader Dr Matt Davey and Education Postgraduate Administrator Helen Bury help answer questions put forward by prospective students who are interested applying to the Sept 2023 programme and who are keen to build a career in Algal Biotechnology. As well as take questions, Matt will also give some insight into the course from what you will learn to what this could lead to in the future.

Two Scholarships with Sustainable Aquaculture Innovation Centre (SAIC) for Students with Scottish residency are also available.
