Before deciding where and what to study, it is important that you find out as much as you can about the place and the course you are interested in. At our Open Events, you’ll find everything you need to know about our Extended Diplomas, Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, BA (Hons) Degrees and MA/MFA courses.

Start your day with us on hand to help you plan your itinerary, ensuring you make the most of your day at Plymouth College of Art. On hand will be our Subject Leaders from each programme, our Finance team, Student Support, and our Learning Lab team, ready to answer your questions and guide you on the first steps in your creative journey.
There is a whole range of interesting and challenging activities for you to choose from.

Welcome Talk
During our Welcome Talk you'll hear from the Principal as he discusses our ethos and values as an educational institution, as well as information from our Heads of Schools about the specialist, creative courses we have on offer. You'll also have the opportunity to hear from Alumni about how their degree enhanced their career, and from business employers discussing the thriving creative industry.

Accommodation Tours
Hop on a free bus tour to discover a selection of your accommodation options, and to explore Plymouth’s bustling student neighbourhood. Alternatively, take a tour of their show flat anytime during the Open Day.

Campus Tours
Take a guided tour of our creative campus to explore our state-of-the-art facilities and industry-standard studios and workshops.

Critical Thinking Workshop
Join our Critical Thinking Workshop to experience what a contextual studies lecture is like at Plymouth College of Art, as you’ll be taking part in these lectures as part of your academic studies.

Subject Specific Talks and Tours
If you'd like to find out more about your course of interest, we'd recommend attending a Subject Lecture .The lecture will be delivered by one of the academics that teach on your course of interest.

Subject Workshops (across all courses)
Following the Subject Lecture, we welcome you to take part in a subject specific interactive workshop within one of our specialist labs.
