This is a great opportunity for prospective students to gain an insight into these degrees and the University of Buckingham.
During the session, you will have the opportunity to:
• Meet the lecturers who teach these programmes
• Participate in a tutorial to see if this style of learning is right for you
• Chat with current students to find out why they chose to study at Buckingham, how they are finding the two-year degree and which subject modules they are enjoying the most!
• Understand how student fees and finance work in practice at Buckingham.
Attending this taster session will enable you to better understand our accelerated degree structure and small class size teaching model. You can also go on a campus tour if you would like to see more of the teaching and study facilities, Student Union and university accommodation.

Are you aspiring to start your career in Cyber Security or AI and Robotics? Or, perhaps you want to work in Machine Learning, Gaming and Immersive Technology or Software Development. This Taster will illustrate how the Buckingham degree programmes provide a fast-track grounding in developing the knowledge and skills you will require to begin a successful career in Computing. Our offer is unique because of our tutorial teaching model and flexibility of study with two entry points and a chance to finish your degree in as little as two years! Our degrees are accredited by the British Computing Society (BCS) and include opportunities to engage in real-world work experience. The programme includes paid online and in-person micro-internships via the B-Enterprising scheme.
