Geography & Environment: The Next Mass Extinction - Inevitable? (virtual session)
Thu 1 December 2022 - 17:00 to 18:00
Global biodiversity is declining rapidly, and we are entering the Earth's sixth mass extinction. However, this mass extinction differs from those occurring in our planet's past; it is driven by us. With Dr Poppy Harding, we will explore why biodiversity is so essential to the health of our planet, how we can prevent further loss of biodiversity and if this mass extinction is inevitable.
