Sustainable diets - how can we help save our planet?

Given current climate change initiatives, changes to farming practices and an expanding global population, there is growing interest for people to adopt more sustainable diets. However, it is important to be mindful of the differences in protein, vitamins, and minerals between animal products and plant-based alternatives. Dr Kate Earl will introduce you to the concept of sustainable diets and explore what dietary changes can help save our planet, while maintaining a healthy balance of nutrients. This session is suitable for students in Year 11-13.
