At our Taster Day you will:
- Fully immerse yourself in our studios and labs to see different Creative and Digital Technologies in action.
- Chat to current students about life as a student at Portsmouth and the different creative courses they study.
- Find out more about transferable skills you''ll develop during your studies that will make you highly employable.
- Gain useful experience that you can talk about on your UCAS personal statement, demonstrating your passion for Creative and Digital Technologies.
You can pick to get involved in 3 different interactive sessions throughout the day, from things like Immersive Extended Reality, Mobile Apps, Virtual Reality, Game Design and Game Sounds. In these sessions, you have the opportunity to:
- Make a video game.
- Add sound to a live game to enhance immersion and gameplay.
- Use your creative skills with the Immersive Extended Reality (CCIXR).
- Use biosensing systems for modifcation of a VR experience.
