The University of Roehampton are pleased to host a free English and Creative Writing Taster Day for anyone considering a degree in these subjects.
The valuable session will give prospective students the opportunity to take part in both an English Literature and Creative Writing taster session. There will also be opportunity for prospective students to chat to current Student Ambassadors and Academics in the department.
10:00 - Arrival and Welcome
10:15 - Creative Writing Taster Session: Character + Setting + Problem = Story. Hosted by Dr Tim Atkins, Senior Lecturer in BA Creative & Professional Writing.
11:15 - Break
11:30 - English Literature Taster Session: Natural versus Supernatural in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray 1891. Hosted by Dr Louise Lee, Senior Lecturer in English and Creative Writing.
12:30 - Wrap Up and Exit
12:45 - Optional Campus Tour with Ambassadors before Exit
