Taught by academic staff with industry experience in a variety of business sectors, this flexible programme allows you to experience a wide range of management functions.
In studying this programme, you will be exposed to business ideas and cultures from the UK and beyond. This programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), giving graduates full exemptions from their Certificate in Business Accounting and partial exemptions from operational and management level requirements.
From first year, you will be introduced to the problems and challenges of the business world and equipped with the skills and knowledge to solve them.
Specialise in areas of interest, through one of five pathways: General Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Leadership and People Management, Digital Business and AI, or Sports Management.
In final year, deepen your specialist expertise within your pathway developing a strong understanding of your chosen field. You can choose to complete a dissertation, allowing you to research a topic of personal interest in depth.
We encourage our students to work as part of a team and give opportunity to work with real businesses, gaining a global perspective through a vibrant international learning community. Analyse data, evaluate international contexts, and learn to make responsible business decisions.
Our graduates have the knowledge, specialist expertise, and practical experience to succeed in a wide range of careers or further study.
In third year, you will complete a year-long graduate-level placement, providing valuable work experience and an opportunity to further enhance the skills and attributes sought after by top employers.
You can apply for placements with a large organisation or smaller company. You will be supported by university staff whilst on placement and complete related assessments in May.
