Assessment is via practical observations, written reports, presentations, interviews, posters, video presentations, and group work.
The assessment of Pearson's Higher National qualifications are criterion-referenced and you will provide evidence in the form of assignments, which are assessed against the unit learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

Successful completion of a Level 4 qualification in Sport, Fitness, Community Coaching, or a related subject is a requirement to study this course. You will also need a minimum of a grade 4 in GCSE Maths and English or its equivalent and the ability to demonstrate meaningful work experience.
