Course summary

Top-up your existing qualifications to a full BSc degree in one year. Top-up courses are equivalent to the final year of an undergraduate degree and allow you to 'top-up' an existing qualification into a full honours degree.

You can focus on the topics that interest you most and tailor your study towards your career goals. Gain the experience and skills to progress into a range of career options including sport performance, sports science, health, education, coaching or business. This degree is an ideal option for international applicants. It could reduce the time it takes to obtain a full Honours degree, compared to your home-based programme options.

Modules

Course Modules

You’ll improve your research and personal development skills through two compulsory modules. One requires you to undertake a research project of your choice, with the other focusing on improving your employability skills, ready for the sports industry. A wide range of optional modules give you the chance to really focus on the areas that interest you most, and to best suit your career goals. Compulsory modules include Advanced Professional Practice in Sport, High Performing Teams, Sport Research Project. Optional modules include: Developing the Youth Athlete, Performance Analysis in Practice, Performance Nutrition, Sport and Social Media, Sport Sponsorship and Brand Development.
