Chemical engineering is an interdisciplinary and evolving subject, playing an essential role in the transition to more efficient and circular use of natural resources. Chemical Engineers provide innovative solutions to problems in many sectors including pharmaceuticals, food and drink, healthcare, fine chemicals, energy, and fast-moving consumer goods.
Our MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering addresses developments in the global chemical industry to provide you with a skill set that puts you amongst the strongest candidates in the field. The programme is designed to advance your knowledge in chemical and process engineering by focusing on an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of key chemical and industrial processes and applying them to practice. You will encounter the latest technologies available to the process industries and will be exposed to a broad range of advanced and crucial operations and optimisation methods.
A 2:2 honours degree (or equivalent international qualification) in engineering or physical sciences. Other academic or professional qualifications on case-by-case basis.
