Course summary

Our International Business and Management Master's programme gives you the skills you need to unlock a wide range of global management opportunities. The programme is grounded in the main concepts and theories that focus on key elements of contemporary international business and views from a strategic perspective.

The aim is to produce fully rounded managers by combining international business and management with a detailed treatment of other subjects concerned with the management of organisations. Throughout this programme, you will have opportunities to develop research and analytical skills, real-life problem-solving capacities, and the personal and interpersonal skills needed to succeed. This programme will appeal to those who wish to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to their studies and have an international orientation towards business and management.

The programme is aligned and supported by experienced academics associated with the International Business Marketing and Branding Research Centre. Members of this research centre have a reputation in the field and provide significant insights into key areas of international management, reflecting best practice, innovative thinking and research in international business. Furthermore, this programme is designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills in business and management to enhance your utility and employability in this field. The programme cultivates the ethos of an engaging and inclusive learning community that is responsive to different learning styles and allows you to develop to your full potential.

Professional accreditation
We are proud to be in an elite group of business schools to hold the triple accreditations of Equis, AMBA and AACSB, often referred to as the "Triple Crown".

A number of professional accountancy bodies give exemptions for examinations taken at different stages of their professional qualification, including ICAEW, ACCA, AIA and CIMA, and CPA Australia. Depending on specific accounting modules taken, this programme may entitle students to be eligible for exemptions.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accredit this programme. This means that, by successfully completing your degree, you are eligible for exemptions from some ACCA fundamental level examinations.

World Bank low-income or low to middle income economy countries: £2,000 scholarship
Academic Excellence scholarships: 15 scholarships of £1,000 available as a fee reduction to the highest achieving students with at least a first-class Honours in their undergraduate studies, or the European equivalent.
Ma Kam Ming Scholarship Fund: The Ma Kam Ming Scholarship Fund supports up to 4 scholarships for full-time postgraduate study leading to the degree of MSc, at the School of Management, from permanent residents of Hong Kong or citizens of China in 2014/15.
Postgraduate Bursary: UK or EU students applying to study a full-time Masters or research postgraduate programme, who have recently graduated from an undergraduate programme in England, and have received support towards their fees from the Local Authority or the Student Loans Company in their final year of undergraduate study at their previous university may be eligible for a Postgraduate Bursary of £500. Alumni discount: self funded or part-self funded Bradford alumni applying to study a full-time or part-time Master's programme, whether studied in Bradford or at one of our partner institutions, will qualify for a discount on the self-funded element of their fees.
