Overview
Our dynamic BA Business Management with a Year in Industry degree will strengthen your analytical skills and equip you with the tools to lead in today’s AI- and sustainability-driven business world. You’ll build a strong understanding of business strategy, grounded in product performance, process efficiency, and effective team building, preparing you for a successful career.
At UEA, we focus on data-based decision making. You'll learn how to ask the right questions and how to find unbiased answers. You'll develop quantitative and qualitative skills, learning how to deal with numbers and accounts, and how to interpret statistics, as well as how to manage people and resources. You’ll also gain experience collaborating with others and presenting your findings and ideas — excellent preparation for a future career where you’ll not only solve problems but also need to clearly communicate and justify your solutions.
Our programme is highly flexible. After acquiring a solid foundation in the first year, you’ll have the opportunity to specialise in the areas of business that interest you most. There’s a great choice of subjects to focus, which range from marketing to talent development, to finance, and from project management to law or entrepreneurship and many more. This course will deepen your understanding of how businesses operate, while at the same time as allowing you to keep your options open, until you choose where to focus. In your third year, you’ll spend 9-12 months in an industry placement, gaining invaluable skills and experience to enhance your CV, before returning to UEA to complete your studies.

Additional fee information
Tuition fees increase annually for all students in subsequent years of study. Any fee increase is based on the fee for the year that you register. Home undergraduate fees, whose rates are regulated by the UK Government, will be amended in line with any alteration advised by the UK Government. Fees not regulated by the UK Government will increase by a maximum of 4% or RPI-X whichever is the higher. RPI-X is the Retail Prices Index excluding mortgage interest.
