Qualification requirements
UCAS Tariff - Not accepted
A level - AAB
Excluding General Studies.
One of these must be an A-level or equivalent in a subject that includes essays as a form of assessment.
Music requires A level Music at grade A, or alternatively grade 6-8 ABRSM Theory or ABRSM grade 8 Performance provided it is completed alongside three A levels. Equivalent Trinity or LCM Music theory qualifications are still considered.
Modern Languages students wishing to study a language at advanced level will need to have a grade B in A-level in that language.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
BTEC Extended Diploma: DDD.
BTEC Diploma: DD, plus B at A-level.
BTEC Subsidiary Diploma: D, plus AB at A-level.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 32 points
6,6,5 in Higher Level subjects, required subjects are stated in A Level section
WJEC Level 3 Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales
Accepted in place of a non-required A level with the equivalent grade.
Cambridge International Pre-U Certificate - Principal
Accepted in place of A levels with the following grade equivalencies: D2 = A*; D3 = A; M2 = B. Combinations of A levels and Principle subjects are accepted. NB required subjects must be offered (see A level Section)
