About the course

BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences offers a broad and flexible approach to the study of life sciences, allowing you to explore biological processes from the molecular level through to whole organisms and ecosystems. The course provides a strong scientific foundation while enabling you to shape your studies around areas of biology that interest you most as you progress.

This course is designed for students who want to understand how living systems function and interact, whether you are aiming for a career in science, healthcare, environmental sectors or further academic study.

What you’ll study

Applicants must hold an A level required in Biology or Chemistry (or equivalent) in addition to a GCSE grade C/4 in Maths (or equivalent).
