As a Bachelor of Engineering, you'll be equipped with the expertise to pursue an engineering career in a diverse range of sectors following your degree.
Graduates of he BEng (Hons) AI and Robotics degree with a foundation year go on to work in Automation, AI, Robotics, Manufacturing, Aerospace and more. After your degree, you'll also have the option of studying for a relevant master's degree or engaging in research for a PhD, should you want to continue studying.

Our Artificial Intelligence and Robotics degree course features an integrated foundation year, offering you the chance to build up important core knowledge at the beginning of your studies. During this year, you'll develop essential skills relating to artificial intelligence and related technologies, setting you up for success throughout your degree.
This four-year artificial intelligence degree course is delivered from London Metropolitan University's Holloway campus, just a short journey away from London's most historic landmarks and global tech businesses. Modules are designed to offer an engaging learning experience and enhance your chances of course success, incorporating traditional lectures, interactive tutorials and innovative lab-based workshops.
The following two-years of this course are designed to teach you key skills in subjects essential to all engineering disciplines, including teaching core and AI and robotics expertise.
In your third year of this AI degree, you'll have the opportunity to select a key subject of interest from within the AI and robotics space, including electronic systems, programming, microprocessors, network engineering and more. With the continued support of your supervisor, you'll then embark on and specialise in an individual project based on your subject of choice.
During your studies, you'll have easy access to extensive learner support, supplementary resources and study materials through our virtual learning environment (VLE). You'll have the opportunity to work within industry-standard facilities, including engineering modelling and simulation laboratories, production laboratories and professional research centres.

The foundation year for this course is charged at £5,760 for Home/UK full time students and £1,440 per 30 credit module for Home/UK part time students. The following academic years will be charged at the government capped rate.
Please note, in addition to the tuition fee there may be additional costs for things like equipment, materials, printing, textbooks, trips or professional body fees. Additionally, there may be other activities that are not formally part of your course and not required to complete your course, but which you may find helpful (for example, optional field trips). The costs of these are additional to your tuition fee and the fees set out above and will be notified when the activity is being arranged.
