Course summary

This programme gives you the opportunity to work in a variety of specialisms including, Painting & Drawing, Sculpture, Photography and Digital Media. Over the course of the two years you will develop a personal portfolio and also take part in an exhibition of your own work. In the second you will be directed towards how to best prepare for employment within the creative industries or how to take the next step into the final year of a full degree. This course offers a much more personal experience with smaller class sizes than larger universities.
The course is intended for anyone with a passion for art and is looking for a potential future professional career in the visual arts sector. It is aimed at any student who wishes to develop their skills in painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and photography.

Qualification requirements

UCAS Tariff - 32 points

You will need to have a minimum of 32 UCAS points to apply for the course. It is also desirable that you have at least a level 2 qualification in English and maths. mature candidates will be considered without the formal qualifications, dependent upon former experience. All applicants will need to attend an interview, where you will need to bring a portfolio and sketchbooks containing examples of your current work.
