I started dancing from the age of 3 in Ballet, Modern and Tap and then also started training in Contemporary, Irish and Ballroom & Latin dance before completing both GCSE & A-level Dance. I'm now continuing my passion here at UOL and hope to continue this into a professional career!

As a pharmacy student and gym enthusiast, my future plans revolve around integrating my passion for health and fitness with my pharmaceutical knowledge. I aim to specialize in sports pharmacy, focusing on supplements, performance enhancement, and injury recovery. My goal is to educate people on safe and effective medication and supplementation while promoting a balanced lifestyle. Additionally, I plan to continue my fitness journey, possibly pursuing certifications in nutrition or personal training to provide well-rounded health advice. By combining both fields, I hope to contribute to the healthcare industry in a way that supports both medical well-being and physical performance.

Sport and Exercise Science - BSc (Hons)

I previously studied A levels: business, biology and BTEC sport at sixth form. I am currently studying sport and exercise science and am 3rd year. After graduating I am thinking about either studying a masters in Physiotherapy or perhaps joining the police. I am part of the University ladies 1’s hockey team and play games on Wednesdays. I also go to the University gym on a regular basis.

Hi! I’m Amelia, and I’m studying biology at UOL! I am the course rep for my year and also a student ambassador, and my interests in biology are towards the structural aspects. I enjoy learning about human biology and how the human systems work, and the similarities between us and animals. I hope to study more about the history of biology, such as fossils and bones in the future, as well as ‘ancientbiotics’ - how humans treated diseases without the knowledge we have now. I’m currently studying Accountancy at Lincoln University, and I’m in my second year, working towards a predicted 2:1. I’m passionate about finance, accounting, and business, and I’m keen to apply my knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Beyond my studies, I’ve taken part in various industry-focused opportunities, including:

Completing the Bloomberg Market Concepts course to develop financial markets knowledge.

Achieving Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Excel, enhancing my data analysis skills.

Winning 1st place in the CIMA Business Game Award, showcasing my problem-solving and strategic thinking.

Acting as a Student Ambassador and Course Representative, helping students navigate university life and academic challenges.

I also have work experience across multiple industries, from customer service and operations to handling emergency calls for the NHS. These roles have strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

In my first and second year, I lived in Lincoln, which gave me a great experience of student life, but this year I’m commuting. So, whether you’re moving away for uni or thinking about commuting, I’m happy to share advice on both!

Outside of academics, I’m a huge football fan and love both playing and watching the game. I also enjoy gaming in my free time, whether it's competitive online matches or just relaxing with friends.

Pharmacy - MPharm

Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. Everything was so quick and it really helped me to settle into university lifestyle. So yeah, any questions you have about this I’m happy to answer :)

Hi, I am Ellie, a masters student studying Developmental Psychology. I have a passion for education and aspire to be an educational consultant. When I was studying for my A Levels I was adamant that I didn't want to leave home, however, moving to uni has been the best decision I have ever made! Life at university has helped me explore new passions and enabled me to continue with old hobbies such as dance! As an education and psychology student, I can explore new ideas in psychology and put them into practice in education, allowing for an advanced style of thinking. Since being at uni I have immersed myself in my studies and life as a student and since becoming a course rep, student ambassador and online tutor as well as being in the dance society. I am British Italian with an Anglo-Indian heritage, and reside in London. My English and Creative Writing undergraduate degree will prepare me for an English Literature MA and PhD, specialising in 19th-century women's writing and its relevance to contemporaneous debates about feminism. I plan to become an English professor in an Italian university. I am also undertaking the TEFL diploma course which will aid me in teaching English in Milano, and an advanced Italian course to develop my language learning! I enjoy researching and exploring Anglo-Indian history and culture which is prevalent in my creative non-fiction stories based on my grandmother and great-grandfather.

International Tourism Management - BA (Hons)

My future plans after university consist of travelling and looking at post graduate schemes as well as jobs in the aviation industry, I would love to work in the aviation field after graduating. Including working land side and airside for airports as well as airline companies.
