University Centre Sparsholt (UCS) offers a truly diverse and exciting range of courses which can take your higher education journey to the next level.
We believe a qualification from UCS means more than just a piece of paper. It means practical, hands-on experience, research opportunities and industry connections to prepare you from day one for your future career in your chosen specialist field.
Our lecturers have wide ranging industry experience and are as excited about their specialist subject as you are. The teaching team is highly qualified with extensive industry contacts, all of which they are keen to share with you both on campus in the specialist facilities and off-campus at industry sites.
At UCS you won’t be a number in a large class, our dedicated HE team take time to get to know their students on first name terms and make themselves available for queries and support when they are not teaching.

Sparsholt has provided with me with all the theoretical knowledge and practical skills that I will need to find a job, or to continue my learning. They have made me feel incredibly confident in my abilities as a future ecologist. The courses are very practical and hands-on, so all the theory learnt can be put into practice, which is incredibly important for the industry. The tutors are extremely knowledgeable and encouraging, and always make sure you gain all the relevant industry-based experience.
