This session will explore higher and degree apprenticeships as an option for students. Primarily offering the opportunity for a Q&A, it will provide information on how to apply for apprenticeships, and course content, apprenticeship policy changes, and the Government’s apprenticeship agenda.

Learning outcomes

Delegates will:

• understand the apprenticeship options available to students
• find out how students can apply for apprenticeships
• understand why apprenticeships should be considered as an option when advising applicants
• learn the value of an apprenticeship, and the career options available
• gain knowledge of the new degree apprenticeships, and their suitability as an alternative to traditional undergraduate study
