The Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2019

Mandy has worked at The University of Manchester for over ten years in a number of roles across widening participation and student recruitment. She currently has responsibility for a range of activities to support widening access to the university, including the flagship Manchester Access Programme (MAP) for post-16 students from under-represented groups, contextual admissions, and research and evaluation to support the development of the university’s Access and Participation Plan.

Prior to her role at Manchester, Mandy worked for three years as an academic researcher, after gaining her doctorate from the University of Cambridge.
