Bex is Strategic Manager for UCAS’ information and advice service, which focuses on ensuring students receive a comprehensive and impartial service to support their decision-making and progression, covering all routes and destinations. Bex is also now leading on the development of UCAS’ apprenticeships service – focused on higher and degree level apprenticeships.

With the growing demand and new opportunities presented by degree apprenticeships, UCAS is now building on its established information and advice service for apprenticeships, raising the profile of this pathway and extending its service for students, their advisers, higher education providers, and employers. 

Bex joined UCAS in 2010 from the management team of an SME specialising in developing software services for the education sector. She has a background in teaching, education, and skills development, working with employers and sector bodies. She also has experience in policy research.
