Biography

Amy Smith is Associate Director of Admissions and Applicant Experience at Nottingham Trent University, responsible for all aspects of admissions from initial enquiry through to enrolment. Amy leads on the NTU admissions strategy and is an active participant in the admissions sector, holding membership of several sector groups and contributing to strategic reviews.

Amy has worked in admissions for over 11 years, previously holding posts at the University of Nottingham, University of Sheffield, SPA and UCAS. Passionate about fairness and the admissions process, Amy’s interests and specialisms include UK benchmark qualifications and qualification reform, the UCAS Tariff and entry requirements, and the role of contextual information in admissions decision making.
