UCAS Collect will be launching from January 2026 in readiness for the 2027 cycle, and will replace the Collection Tool. It will bring a more simplified and flexible approach to collecting and structuring UCAS’ courses data.
We gathered feedback from the UCAS Collect Working Group and various advisory groups, to shape the early version of the new product. We've now released UCAS Collect into our test and training environment so all providers can review, test, and share feedback.
If you have a Collection Tool account you will be set up automatically in our test and training environment. If you don’t have one but would like to access UCAS Collect, you need to create a new account.

Collection Tool decommissioned – the 2026 cycle will remain in the Collection Tool for the duration of the cycle, until it closes in late October 2026.

We suggest you follow the calendar below to ensure you're maximising the time your courses are visible to students.
You can update your course listings at any time.
To make sure your courses display in our search tool from late May:
Our search tool will start displaying Clearing vacancies from the beginning of July – use this time to make sure your courses are ready for Clearing.
You can continue to manage your Clearing vacancies throughout the Confirmation and Clearing period.
Roll over your UCAS Postgraduate courses to the next academic year, update, and publish them so they display in the search tool.
It's important your course and provider information is maintained in UCAS Collect. Make sure it:
is as current and complete as possible
meets UCAS data standards:
is compliant with legal requirements, such as consumer protection laws, e.g. the requirements set out by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)
