As part of our preparations for Confirmation and Clearing, we will be carrying out maintenance and performance improvement activity which will result in UCAS Apply and Track being unavailable from 18:00 on Friday 29 May, until 00:01 on Sunday 31 May (UK time).
This won't be a big change, but if you're starting to apply from September 2016, you'll notice some universities and colleges referring to the new Tariff points.
- All qualifications that are currently on the UCAS Tariff will continue to attract points under the new system.
- New UCAS Tariff points should not have any impact on students' decisions on qualification choices at school or college, or their preparation for higher education.
- The change to new UCAS Tariff points will not in itself change entry requirements for university and college courses.
