Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2022

The session will highlight the differences between this route and the standard degree route, and the balance between taught delivery and work-place learning. The session will include input from a current degree apprentice who talk about the demands it places on them and the rewards they get from completing their degree through this route.

Manchester Met has delivered Degree Apprenticeships since 2014, and the session will highlight what the University has learnt and how the provision has developed over the years. The session will also focus on the Degree Apprenticeship Outreach Programmes that have been developed by Manchester Met, to widen the awareness and appeal amongst school leavers, and to support learners through the application and selection process.
