Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2022

Aware of the difficulties school and college students had faced in 2020/21, the University of Leicester wanted to ensure students gain a HeadStart before joining the University by supporting with a range of initiatives, workshops and sessions to ease any concerns. UoL wanted to highlight the support networks and communities before students even step on campus. Sessions from across the University were provided in a range of areas such as meeting future academics and peers, CV writing, study skills and much, much more. Extra support was even provided to reassure parents during this time of change too. The University of Leicester’s approach was recently picked up in The Telegraph.
