Our UCAS Progress phone lines will be unavailable from 14:45 on Monday 17 December, due to staff training. They will reopen as normal at 08:30 on Tuesday 18 December.

  • Apply through UCAS Undergraduate to study for your first degree.

    This route also includes:

    • MA/MSc (master of art/master of science) courses in:
      • social work
      • nursing
      • medicine
    • LLB (law degree) accelerated programmes
    • teacher training programmes in Scotland

  • Apply through UCAS Postgraduate if you want to return to study after achieving your first degree.

    However, you should use the UCAS Undergraduate application scheme for:

    • MA/MSc (master of art/master of science) courses in:
      • social work
      • nursing
      • medicine
    • LLB (law degree) accelerated programmes
    • teacher training programmes in Scotland

    If you want to study for a postgraduate teacher training qualification in England or Wales, you’ll need to apply through UCAS Teacher Training.

  • Apply through UCAS Teacher Training for postgraduate teacher training programmes in England and Wales.

    If you're looking for teacher training programmes at undergraduate level, or postgraduate training programmes in Scotland, you’ll need to apply through UCAS Undergraduate.

  • Apply through UCAS Progress for further education courses (e.g. A levels or BTECs) at schools and colleges in England.
