Law Taster Tutorial

The event will start with an opportunity to hear from our guest speakers from a wide variety of roles within the legal profession including a Barrister, Solicitor and CEO of Table Tennis England. You will have the opportunity to witness a courtroom drama, listen to the mooting and take part as juror to see for yourself how the legal process works and decide as a jury whether to find the defendant guilty or not guilty.
There will also be the chance to meet staff and students from the Law School and find out more about the variety of career opportunities that follow an LLB degree.
At the University of Buckingham, we are 1st in the UK for Teaching Excellence (TEF: Times Higher Education metrics ranking, 2017) and take a different approach to teaching and learning. But don’t just take our word for it, come along and have a chat with our current Law students.
This event is open to both school groups and individuals and can also be used to enhance your UCAS personal statement. Places will be limited.

Our upcoming Law Taster Session is a great opportunity to visit our campus, meet our staff, chat to current students, and get a feel for what its like to be a Law student at Buckingham. The theme for this Taster is "Attempted murder and the Voodoo doll" tackling 'The purpose of criminal law'
Each Taster includes a themed tutorial session, so you can experience what it is like to study Law at Buckingham.
This taster’s theme will be announced nearer the time.
