Summary
Over the past few months, universities have had to rapidly move large-scale events online but how do virtual events compare with physically visiting a university campus?
This session will look at what the sector learned from virtual events offered in 2020, how students can maximise these to support their university research and examine if they will continue in the ‘new-normal’.
Learning Outcomes:
- Explore the different types of virtual events offered by universities in 2020.
- Discuss how students and advisers can maximise these events to support applications to university.
- Reflect on the learnings made from virtual events and how these could be applied to on-campus events in the future.
