Steve Minney has twenty years experience of student recruitment and has expertise in the transition to higher education, character education, curriculum design and admissions policy.  He has sat on numerous national committees and expert panels and was notably a member of the development team which contributed to the reform of the UCAS tariff mechanism for 2017 entry.  As well as holding the elected role of HELOA Wales Chair from January 2014 to December 2017, Steve has been a school governor since 2007 and has experienced a full range of duties from headteacher appointment to budget monitoring and parent liaison during the construction of an entire new school estate.  Steve has recently founded a school governor network at Swansea University in partnership with Governors for Schools.
