Russell has a first class degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and completed his LLM at the University of British Columbia as a Commonwealth Scholar. Before joining The University of Law, Russell was a commercial litigation partner at a top-25 UK law firm and is a 10-year qualified solicitor. Russell now teaches Civil Dispute Resolution on the Legal Practice Course, and Equity and Contract on both the Graduate Diploma in Law and LLB. He is also a member of the core design team for The University’s new SQE programmes, has written the Trusts Manual to support those programmes, and manages The University’s SQE1 assessment bank.
