Caitriona has been engaged in student recruitment, schools liaison, and educational marketing throughout her career. She has been Head of Student Recruitment at Oxford University since November 2011, a role which sees her heading up the team that delivers large-scale events advising students and teachers on applications to the University of Oxford, both in the UK and worldwide.

Graduating from the University of Kent with an undergraduate degree in history and drama, she went on to work at the same university as Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer. Since joining the University of Oxford in 2007, she has worked as Student Recruitment Officer, Deputy Head of Enquiries, and in marketing, and is currently Head of Student Recruitment. These roles have seen her involved in varied projects, such as delivering the University of Oxford prospectus, running the University of Oxford open days, arranging numerous events for up to 3,200 students, creating and delivering a coherent strategy for recruitment in Europe, and personally delivering hundreds of presentations in schools and colleges.
