The Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2021

Rebecca has worked in USW Student Recruitment for 9 years, currently leading our provision for Welsh-medium Schools, the Widening Participation Team and the Faculty of Creative Industries. Her close links with the Faculty give her an insight to an area of teaching that has been perhaps uniquely challenged by the change to blended learning. Rebecca has a real passion for the equal representation for all groups, especially Welsh speakers. In addition to this, she has been the HELOA Wales Group Chair for 3 years and has a strong links across the HE sector within Wales, organising a national recruitment fair hosted via a virtual platform. Rebecca has recently completed a secondment as Head of Welsh at USW, so gives a unique perspective of someone who has delivered whole university impact.
