Stamford Test

Step 1: Choosing courses

The Stamford Test was a questionnaire tool designed to help match interests to higher education courses. It was created by Cambridge Occupational Analysts many years ago and has been hosted on the UCAS website. In November 2011 the contract for this service expired.

UCAS is looking to develop a new tool that will allow users to find higher education courses through multiple entry points, from interests, to career aspirations and by qualifications you hold or qualifications you plan to take.

Take a look at the choosing courses page to find out more about choosing courses. There is also a link in this section to our bookstore where there are a number of publications that could help you.

If you need further help deciding which subjects to study and are still in education, we always recommend you talk to an adviser at your own, or another local, school or college.
