Summary The aims of the qualification are to enable candidates to develop and demonstrate personal, key and employability skills leading to personal effectiveness, and to broaden experience and manage learning through the enrichment activities provided by the ASDAN challenges. The purpose of the qualification is to develop these generic skills and receive formal recognition through certification.
Tariff entry The CoPE award was first allocated UCAS Tariff points following a desktop exercise in February 2005. Points came into effect for entry to higher education from 2007 onwards.
